#1 - Display, Store & Graph Average Readings

Your nVision now offers two screens to graph and display average data.  This new feature broadens the range of tasks you can use your nVision for, and saves the time you would normally spend calculating averages in a spreadsheet.

The new Numeric Average screen displays:

• The cumulative average over the entire test
• Live pressure (for safety)
• Start time
• Total duration of the test

This feature is used in flow calculations, and was requested by a natural gas company.  

#2 - Record & Graph Your Differential Measurements

Now you can store and graph the high-accuracy differential data you read about in our last newsletter.  Graphing your differential measurements gives you in-field documentation of your:

• Pressure transmitter validation
• Filter testing
• Gas meter testing

The nVision stores up to 500,000 differential measurements in up to 64 separate data runs. 

#3 - Customizable Screens & Screen Numbers

A new feature inside CrystalControl allows you to customize the screens on your nVision.  Now you can disable the screens you never use, enable screens as you need them, and arrange the order screens appear in.

Modifying your screens saves you time, by streamlining your operation.  With fewer screens to learn, training time is reduced.

Extended Battery Life

This update improves the battery life on the nVision by 10 to 15%.

How to Install

CrystalControl 1.3 is available at www.crystalengineering.net/downloads/nVision.

If you already have CrystalControl installed and your PC is connected to the Internet, click on Tools, and then choose Check for Updates.

For the new nVision firmware, start CrystalControl 1.3, connect your nVision, and click on Tools and then firmware update.  Choose the latest firmware available and click Update Gauge.
