New & Improved Sensor Assembly for XP2i and M1

Starting this month, the XP2i and M1 will include our new CPF Sensor Assembly on pressure ranges of 2000 psi and higher.
When we designed Crystal Pressure Fittings (CPF), we created the safest calibration & test fittings on the market. They allow finger-tight, leak-free connections up to 10,000 PSI, with a 4:1 Factor of Safety. They incorporate a Self-Venting Weep Hole that helps prevent accidents, an easily replaceable O-Ring, and clear laser marking for easy identification.
Now we are building the CPF line into the XP2i and M1 sensor assemblies with a carefully controlled, temperature-monitored welding process that takes place here at the Crystal Engineering factory.
The new CPF Sensor Assembly uses a CPF Female Connector in place of a male NPT fitting, protecting your sensor threads from damage. New XP2i's will include a ¼" NPT or BSP adapter, which you can replace - instead of your sensor - should thread damage occur.
When you are ready to order, the XP2i's part numbers have not changed. You will receive a ¼" Male NPT adapter if you order a standard part (for example 15PSIXP2i), or a 1/4" BSP Male if you indicate the BSP option.

Improved nVision DP Accuracy
Through a recent free firmware update in CrystalControl 1.4b, we have improved the nVision's differential pressure accuracy by as much as 50%! For example, now you can measure a differential pressure of 400"H2O, with static pressure up to 1450 psi (100 bar sensor), with an accuracy of 0.1%. Here are the complete specifications.

This breakthrough capability enables easy transmitter validation and characterization.
